Hazards

FOREWARN Bangladesh is building a pool of multi-disciplinary experts who are willing to join the cause of the programme. This is a voluntary group where the aim is to support humanitarians in Bangladesh with their expertise to combat disasters before they occur. Also, the group will support Start Bangladesh members to anticipate risk and disasters and carry out anticipatory actions in the country.

FOREWARN Bangladesh currently has 6 hazard specific groups established: Health, Landslide, Riverbank Erosion, Flood, Cyclone, and Cold Wave. These experts groups are extending as more and more people are becoming part of the initiative.
